The Professional Development Committee was first known as the Staff Development Committee with the following mandate: The Staff Development Committee is mandated to review, recommend and promote formal and informal methods for pre-service and in-service professional development of teaching and administrative staff, and to submit an annual report of its findings and recommendations.
